Creativity can be hidden in our brains for a long time until it is released and can fly. I was a retired fourth grade teacher before I took a leap and tried what I had believed I could not do. After being told many years ago by one of my elementary teachers that I was not artistic, I failed to even try to express myself through art.
With retirement came an opportunity to teach sign language at a local preschool. Frustrated with my attempts to find books to match my lessons, I decided to write a book for the letter E. I loved the results and so did the children. Now I’ve written books for every letter! This freedom spilled over into my sewing and quilting. I design many of my projects now and find it exciting. I hope you will enjoy the results of my imagination.
